This is my interpretation of an original sampler found at the Racine Heritage Museum.
Stitched on 36 count "Parchment" linen by Weeks Dye Works, the stitch count is 221 X 223 and uses DMC threads throughout. I used one strand over two linen threads for all but the name, date and age of dear Elizabeth which is over one thread.
